Sexual Trauma Support:
The numbers are staggering when it comes to the reported incidences of sexual abuse. The latest numbers state that 1 in 4 women and 1 in 5 men are sexually traumatized. Help and support can be limited when there is seemingly no safe place to share the pain by those affected. Sexual abuse has lifetime implications, including the fear of love relationships and an unhealthy connection to sexual intimacy.
Helping Others Heal is delighted to be an instrument to bridge the gap between trauma and healing. Hence, we have a resource that is written from a Christian perspective to help. The book is called, “(you are) Tamar’s Daughters: Desiring healing and deliverance from sexual abuse.” It is written as a precursor for our support counseling and groups (available on Zoom), guiding the way towards a life free of the stronghold of trauma.
